Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Loomstack ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Loomstack project management platform, our website, and this knowledge base (together, the "Services").
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — your name, email address, password, and workspace details you provide when you create an account.
- Content you create — projects, tasks, comments, and files you upload while using the Services.
- Billing information — plan, billing contact, and payment details, which are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and feature usage, used to keep the Services secure and improve them.
- Support communications — messages you send us through the contact form or support channels.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including syncing your work across devices.
- To process payments and send billing notices, receipts, and renewal reminders.
- To send service notifications you have enabled, such as task assignments and mentions.
- To respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues.
- To protect the Services against fraud, abuse, and security threats.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your content with third parties except with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting and payment processing) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
Third-Party Integrations
When you connect a third-party tool (such as Slack, GitHub, or Google Drive) to Loomstack, we access only the data needed to provide that integration, using the permissions you grant during authorization. You can disconnect an integration at any time from your workspace settings, which revokes our access.
Data Retention and Security
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your workspace content is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Workspace administrators can export workspace data at any time, and individual users can update their profile details from account settings. To exercise any other rights, contact us using the details below.
Contact Us
If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, reach out through our contact form and our team will respond within one business day.
